The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the San Diego Padres at 7:08 p.m. Friday in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

The winner will face the New York Mets in the NL Championship Series.

The Dodgers staved off elimination Wednesday night with an 8-0 win at San Diego, in which manager Dave Roberts used eight relievers with no starting pitchers available.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start for the Dodgers on Friday night against Padres righty Yu Darvish in the first matchup of Japanese-born starting pitchers in MLB playoff history.
